Poland's new car market extended its growth run in October, rising 6.1% year-on-year to 55,924 units. The result lifts the year-to-date tally to 526,444 registrations, up 9.5% on the first ten months of 2025. The Skoda Octavia leads the way at the top of the sales charts, while Toyota posted a 5.2% gain, in step with the overall market.
The Dacia Duster was the month's standout performer, with October sales shooting up 59% — further evidence that affordable compact SUVs remain the region's volume engine. Notably, the expansion is being delivered almost entirely by combustion and hybrid models: as EastAutoNews reported earlier, battery-electric registrations in Poland plunged by 50% in October, meaning petrol, diesel and hybrid powertrains are doing the heavy lifting in a market that is nonetheless growing convincingly.
BMW Group's third-quarter figures add a wider lens on how unevenly electrification is spreading. One in every five BMW and MINI vehicles sold in Q3 was fully electric. In Europe, battery-electric and plug-in hybrid models combined accounted for 46.9% of the group's third-quarter sales, with PHEVs representing a much larger share of that electrified volume than in other regions. In the United States, by contrast, electric vehicles made up just 4.7% of Q3 sales across BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce.
For Eastern Europe, the most telling data point is the 18% electric share recorded across the markets BMW groups together as Asia-Pacific, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. That sits well below Europe's electrified share, yet the region's sales momentum — Poland's 6.1% October gain among the clearest examples — suggests dealers can serve two demand curves at once: strong combustion and hybrid turnover today, and a slowly building premium EV pipeline alongside it.
The practical question for the trade is where to source the models buyers are actually choosing. Dealers restocking on Octavias and Dusters — or private buyers comparing prices across borders — can browse more than 70,000 vehicles from across Europe on WorldTrader24.de, where regional price differences are easy to identify before committing to stock or a purchase.
In a market growing at 6.1%, the smartest deals still come from comparing offers before signing. Readers looking for a vehicle can find sensational cars at sensational conditions at WorldTrader24, Europe's marketplace with over 70,000 vehicles.
