About EastAutoNews
Data-driven automotive intelligence for Central and Eastern Europe, built for the people who decide where the region's automotive industry goes next.
Who We Are
EastAutoNews is an independent editorial outlet covering the automotive industry across Central and Eastern Europe. We report on OEMs, suppliers, dealers, trade flows, policy and technology from Warsaw to Bucharest — and beyond, wherever the region's value chain reaches.
We were founded on a simple observation: the CEE automotive market is one of the most dynamic in Europe, yet it is covered unevenly. Local stories rarely cross borders; regional trends are understood only by people who happen to live inside them. We exist to close that gap.
Our Mission
To provide data-driven automotive intelligence for Central and Eastern Europe. That means combining rigorous journalism with continuous monitoring of market data, so our readers do not just learn what happened — they understand what it means, where it is heading, and who is affected.
What Sets Us Apart
- 24/7 Data Monitoring. Our data systems track orders, registrations, trade statistics and supplier announcements around the clock. When something material moves, our editors are working — not waiting for the morning cycle.
- Six Specialized Desks. Industry, Markets, EV & Technology, Trade & Logistics, Suppliers and Policy. Each desk is staffed by dedicated editors with deep subject-matter expertise, so coverage goes deeper than a general newsroom allows.
- Intelligence, Not Just News. Every story is placed in context: trends, comparisons across CEE markets, and the second-order effects for OEMs, suppliers and buyers.
How We Are Organized
Our newsroom works as three integrated teams:
- Editorial. Journalists and editors across our six desks who verify, write and publish the coverage you read every day.
- Data Team. Analysts who build and maintain the monitoring pipelines, dashboards and datasets behind our market reporting.
- AI Desk. Specialists who apply artificial intelligence to research support, first drafts and data preparation — always under mandatory human editorial review, as described in our AI policy.
Our Standard
We hold ourselves to the standards of the best business press: at least two independent sources for core claims, a clear separation of news, analysis and opinion, and transparent corrections when we get something wrong. The full details are in our editorial standards.
