Cookie Policy
Which cookies we use — and how to change your mind at any time.
Our principle
EastAutoNews sets no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies and no third-party cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or similar services. Our visitor statistics work without cookies (see privacy policy, item 4).
Cookies and local storage we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| ean_sess | Cookie (HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax) | Login session for the admin area — set only for editors, never for regular readers | Session or 30 days with "remember me" |
| ean-theme | localStorage | Remembers your choice of light or dark design | Until you delete it |
| ean-consent | localStorage | Stores your cookie choice from our banner | Until you delete it or change it |
Your choice
On your first visit, our cookie banner offers the equally weighted options "Necessary only" and "Accept all". At the moment both choices lead to the same technical result, because we do not use any optional cookies — your decision is stored so that possible future optional elements will respect it. You can change your setting at any time via the footer link "Cookie settings".
Managing cookies in your browser
You can also delete or block cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings. Note that blocking local storage may reset your theme choice.
