Searches for dacia sandero have surged after Renault Group confirmed this week that its Tanger (Morocco) plant is deep into preparations to industrialise the fourth‑generation Sandero, a range that will include petrol, hybrid and a first fully electric Sandero for the brand. The announcement comes as Sandero remains a top seller in Romania and across Europe.

Factory gearing up in Tanger

Renault executives visited the Melloussa/Tanger complex in late October as the factory begins “industrialisation” steps for the new Dacia model, with company executives saying the programme should reach production and market launch roughly a year from now. Thierry Charvet, Renault’s chief industry and quality officer, said: "At Tanger, we are laying the foundations of the industrialisation of our future vehicle key for the Dacia brand." The plant already assembles Sandero and Sandero Stepway at a rate Charvet put at “over 1,000 cars per day, almost 1,300 per day” in current operation.

How Sandero is selling now

On the market side, October sales data for Romania show Dacia models still moving in volume: Dacia Sandero climbed back to third place in the October model ranking (despite a year‑on‑year drop of 22.9% for the month) and remains among the top four best‑selling models year‑to‑date. Those figures underline why Renault is prioritising an updated Sandero range that will also add electrified choices.
