Coaching Ukrainian pilots to fly US-made F-16 fighter jets will ‘drastically improve our military within the sky’, President Zelenskyy mentioned.

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has welcomed United States President Joe Biden’s determination to help the coaching of Ukrainian pilots on US-made F-16 fighter jets, saying it could “drastically improve our military within the sky”.

Describing the plans to coach Ukrainian pilots to fly F-16 jet fighters as a “historic determination”, Zelenskyy mentioned he would talk about the main points with Biden after they meet on the G7 Summit in Japan’s Hiroshima metropolis – the most recent worldwide journey by the Ukrainian chief, which was confirmed on Saturday.

“I depend on discussing the sensible implementation of this determination on the #G7 summit in Hiroshima,” Zelenskyy mentioned in a tweet.

Biden advised G7 leaders on Friday that Washington helps joint allied coaching programmes for  Ukrainian pilots on US-made F-16 fighter jets, senior US officers advised the Reuters information company.
