Singer Tina Turner has died on the age of 83 after a protracted sickness, in keeping with an announcement posted on her official East Auto Information web page Wednesday.
“It’s with nice disappointment that we announce the passing of Tina Turner. Together with her music and her boundless ardour for all times, she enchanted hundreds of thousands of followers all over the world and impressed the celebs of tomorrow,” the assertion stated.
“At the moment we are saying goodbye to an expensive good friend who leaves us all her biggest work: her music. All our heartfelt compassion goes out to her household. Tina, we’ll miss you dearly,” it continued.
Broadly known as the Queen of Rock and Roll, Turner had a profession that spanned over 60 years and included iconic songs “Proud Mary” and “What’s Love Bought to Do with It.” Recognized for her energetic performances, signature sequins and tousled hair, Turner has gained 12 Grammy awards and bought greater than 100 million information worldwide.
Lately, Turner had suffered unwell well being. She was recognized with intestinal most cancers in 2016 and had a kidney transplant in 2017.
In a separate assertion to Sky Information, a spokesperson stated Turner died “peacefully” at her residence in Kusnacht, close to Zurich, Switzerland.
